Route Description

For those with the energy to make this ascent you will be well rewarded. Siete Lagunas is a series of high lakes set in a high valley. A beautiful area surrounded by Mulhacen and Alcazaba the highest points of mainland Spain.

The path is well marked throughout by countless others. The scenery is wild and dramatic and contrasts with the beautiful lakes and green grassy banks. Siete Lagunas is a tough but well worthwhile day or as a stepping stone to the higher peaks of the Sierra Nevada
